My attitude to students
To my mind the most important point of teaching maths is actually to discover the beauty and the simplicity of the theme when with respect to individual student's learning speed. I believe in believing in every single student, that everyone carries the power to do and learn the maths presented to her or him. I think that the role of teaching is to supply every student with skills and good sense to work and prosper in civilisation. That is why I choose to serve my children respectfully and to be as helpful as I can be in the learning process while stimulating them to investigate extra ways of thinking and new concepts and guidelines. I will definitely value each specific scholar's needs within reason of what exactly is real and what solutions are there in the class. I will expect to invest as much or more effort and time invested in the school day as I expect from my scholars. I will accept that I need as much to find out annually like my learners, and I will be flexible enough to accept critique and ready for new forms of teaching in an effort to extend to all of the learning styles.
My role in tutoring
I view my function at this spot as a professional, far equally their real school teachers are, yet also as a new provider of support and help. My position is that of a mentor just because I do not teach a full day of lessons as my master teacher does, hence I may be a resource the students can choose to get supplementary advice or can rely on in order to get encouragement. My role is also that of a scholar, so I view myself as a prolongation of my students, I am definitely learning with all of them what it means to be a good maths teacher.
My teaching strategy
Contrary to different tutoring groups in Pymble, at the time of the normal school year, I actually represent the information which the learner obtains in his/her lesson. In other words, I tend not to request that scholars do extra worksheets and homework that are not component of the student's maths lesson, though instead, I tutor the child in places of his/her mathematics program which may be really complicated such as clarity and intensity of comprehension, application of principles, and test-taking strategies. All that I do is referred straightly to assisting the student to better perceive the information from the mathematics lesson they are getting and to enhance the grade in that class.
